Buroni Panthers, who came into the day with two wins, suffered back-to-back defeats—first losing to MIU and then taking a heavy blow from MUBS. They now sit fourth, level on six points with Blink Kobs and FCA Warriors but trailing on goal difference after conceding 53 goals.
Blink Kobs rebounded from their early losses to Panthers and MUBS with a strong response. They edged Metropolitan International University 17–13 before closing the day with a 14–10 win over FCA Warriors, lifting them to third in the standings. The play off position is still the ultimate target for the defending champions.
